✦ Synopsis

Thermodynamically exact expressions for the activity coeflkient at infinite dilution have been developed. These involve the slopes of the total-pressure and boiling-point composition curves at the ends of the composition range. A graphical procedure is proposed for the more exact measurement of the terminal slopes.
