Several analysis of the hadronic final state produced in electron-proton collisions at HERA are presented including jet and event shapes measurements. The results are compared with QCD predictions and used for a precise determination of the strong coupling constant αs.

Recent measurements of jet and prompt photon production by the H1 and ZEUS experiments are reviewed. The results are compared to next-to-leading order QCD calculations. No large deviations from the data are observed using proton and photon parton densities derived from other processes.
