✦ Synopsis
The high-resolution absorption spectrum of the CHD 3 molecule has been measured on a Fourier transform spectrometer in the region of the n 5 and n 3 / n 6 bands and analyzed for the first time by taking into account a 1 0 a 2 ( K Å 3 ) splittings of the ground vibrational state. The problem of ambiguity in determining the corresponding eI parameter of the ground vibrational state was solved on the basis of the analysis of the rotational structure of the n 5 band. Numerous a 1 -a 2 splittings for the states with K upper Å 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 in the n 5 and n 6 bands are described.
