✦ Synopsis

The ttnalytical potential of thiobenzoylphcnyl}~yclrosylaminc (T13PHR) was discussed in a previous paper 1. TEWHA reacts with :i wider range of metal ions thorn its oxygen counterpart, benzaylpXlenylhydruxylarnine (RPHA). Farrnation canstants for nickel, copper and zinc TBPHA chelates are higher than those of BPHA and prccipitatcs are farmed in mure acid solutions. This paper records the results of further investigations af the analytical potential of TRPHA and describes its USC fur the gravimctric determination of cupper.
