✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Addition of barium chloride (BaCl~2~.2H~2~O) to alknolamine aids formation of barium carbonates when landfill gas (LFG) is passed through the alkanolamine solution. The process is an economical and efficient way of removing large amounts of CO~2~. Supersaturation plays an important role in this interesting process. Copyright © 2010 Society of Chemical Industry
