Abstract
Despite the enormous investments of time and money that organizations put into learning initiatives, little
attention is paid to putting what is learned into practice. This results in waste, lost opportunities, and
frustration. A study done at the BBC, which suspected that learning wasn't being leveraged as much as it
could be, examined the reasons why learning is often not put to use.
