โฆ Synopsis
By N. V. Komendantof. BohZin's group method was applied in the construction of general tables of perturbations not only from Jupiter but also from Saturn. Owing to the comparative slightness of the perturbations from Saturn the group tables computed with an accuracy to certain powers of the quantities: w , 7 , j, L may provide rather accurate values of perturbations of the first order and may therefore be applied, for instance, in case of independent control of Saturn perturbations computed according to the exact interpolation method of Hansen.
Further, the general expressions of perturbations from Saturn may with success be combined with the numerical computation of perturbations from Jupiter, especially for the improvement of accurate osculating elements of the planet. The subsequent computation of perturbations for calculating the ephemerides may be reduced to special perturbations from Jupiter alone.
The group tables of perturbations from Saturn constructed by Osfenl) and BZock2) may, as a matter of fact, be applied with more or less wccess to the determination of perturbations of the majority of minor planets. AS known
