It requires the iolutior~ of the ctose couptin~ equations in the reactant chnnnel only 2nd the imposition of boundary conditions on a hypersurf2ce at the trxnsition state 4 numerical comparison with the complete quantum calculation for the planar H + Hz reaction is presented and LIE aree ment is shown to be good.
