PPG Industries is comprised of three basic business segments: coatings, glass and chemicals. Within these business segments, Co. has focused resources on industrial, aerospace, packaging, architectural, automotive original and refinish coatings; flat glass, automotive original and replacement glass, and continuous‐strand fiber glass; and chlor‐alkali and specialty chemicals. The coatings businesses operate production facilities around the world. Co.'s principal glass production facilities are in North America and Europe. The chemicals businesses operate production facilities around the world including five plants in the United States and one each in Canada and Mexico.
