Influence Tactics for Health Care Leaders Many of today's leaders in health care organizations have a background in medicine or some other scientific field. Largely because they have been educated in a rigorously data-oriented approach and trained in strongly hierarchical settings, they tend to use a narrow range of influence strategies, limiting their management effectiveness.
