Erbium oxide nanoparticles (Er 2 O 3 NP) were synthesized with an efficient method in the presence and absence of sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) as surfactant. The effect of SDS on the morphology of the synthesized Er 2 O 3 NP is described. The NP were studied through scanning electron microscopy and X
