β¦ Synopsis
Electrochemically activated glassy carbon electrodes adsorbed with anthraquinonesulfonate species showed potentiometric responses toward pH changes for pH range between 1 and 1 1, with a near Nernstian slope of about 56.4 mV/pH and a lifetime of more than one month. The effects of electrode pretreatment and preparation conditions, as well as the effects of interfering ions on the electrode response were studied.
