✦ Synopsis

Potential (Eh jpH diagrams have been derived for the Sn/H20 system at 298 K, including mononuclear and polynuclear hydroxy species not considered in the original Pourbaix diagrams. In addition, the effect of chloride on the Eh-pH diagramsand tin oxide solubilities is described and the significance of the results to tin corrosion and hydrometallurgy is discussed. 0.0 -492.4

Potential/pH diagrams are presented for the sulphur-water system at temperatures of 25, 100,120,150,200 and 300°C. The thermodynamic calculations involved in deriving these diagrams make use of the Correspondence Principle of Criss and Cobble. R&u&-Diagrammes (tension-pH) a 25,100,120,150,200 et 300
