✦ Synopsis
The double salt tetrapotassium disodium decavanadate decahydrate, K 4 Na 2 [V 10 O 28 ]Á10H 2 O, crystallizes in the triclinic system in space group P1. The centrosymmetric [V 10 O 28 ] 6À polyanion forms a three-dimensional network via O polyanion Á Á Á K + Á Á ÁO polyanion coordination with K + ions and O polyanion Á Á ÁHÐ O water Á Á ÁNa + hydrogen bonds. The VÁ Á ÁV distances are in the range 3.0601 (9)±3.271 (1) A Ê , and the four types of VÐO bond lengths are in the ranges 1.597 (2)±1.621 (2) (Ot), 1.920 (2)±2.020 (2) (Oc), 1.682 (2)±2.072 (2) (Ob) and 2.088 (2)±2.368 (2) A Ê (Oh).
