✦ Synopsis

Post-buckling analysis of uniform cantilever columns subjected to three types of loading, namely a concentrated tip load, a uniformly distributed load and a linearly varying load has been presented using the Galerkin Finite Element Method. The load parameters are presented for various end slopes and the results are compared with published results. It is noted that the results compare very well.
