A catechol enzyme electrode is described, in which a Clark-type oxygen electrode is coupled to immobilised polyphenol oxidase in albumin cross linked with glutaraldehyde on a dialysis membrane. Electrode calibration, response time, pH response profile, stability, detection limit and selectivity are
