Positron lifetime and Doppler broadening measurements have been used to study the annealing behaviour of deformed Gd between 290 and 700 K . The observed recovery stage a t about 370 K is attributed to dislocations annealing.

Positronenlebensdauer-und Annihilationslinienbreite-Messungen wurderi angewandt, uin das Verhalten von verformtem Gd irn Temperaturbereich zwischen 290 und 700K zu untersuchen. Bei etwa 370 K heilen Defekte aus, die durch Verformung erzeugt wurden. Diese Defekte werden als Versetzungen identifiziert, die mit Fremdatomen dekoriert sind.

Positron lifetime spectra have been measured on plastically deformed Zn-doped p-type GaAs with strain ranging from 0 to 15% at room temperature. The lifetime spectra were analyzed using PATFIT and MELT programs. Two lifetime components were observed in deformed samples. The second lifetime t 2 $ 400
