The measurements of colourability and density changes in KCI crystals with different Sr2+ contents point to the presence of two separate doping ranges in which different mechanisms of Sr2+ incorporation aro active. Below 350 ppm Sr/KC1 substitutional incorporation and above 350 ppm Sr/KCI precipitat

Positron Annihilation Study in Ca2+ and Sr2+ -Doped KCI?
Positron lifetime and three photon annihilation measurements are reported in KCI : Ca2 + and KCI: Sr2+. The present results clearly demonstrate that the positron essentially depends on the kind of Me2+ and impurity concentration in these crystals.

The possibility of hole doping in \(\mathrm{Ca}_{0.85} \mathrm{Sr}_{0.15} \mathrm{CuO}_{2}\) was studied by either partial substitution of alkaline-earth cations by \(\mathrm{Li}\) and \(\mathrm{Na}\) or by annealing in oxygen pressures up to \(200 \mathrm{~atm}\). Li substitution does not modify si
The influence of iodine on the free volume of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) was investigated by positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS). The results indicate the filling of free-volume holes, formation of a positronium-iodine compound (PsI 2 /PsI), and possible charge-transfer co
