✦ Synopsis
Group to move to the next stage of its development and maximize the opportunities within its designated markets, says CEO Stephen Voller.
Voller Energy was established in 2002 to design, develop, manufacture and market a range of portable fuel cell systems for use as mobile generators and battery rechargers. It has three product groups: the VE100 fuel cell system (which includes the VE100 v2 [FCB, August]), the VE1000 fuel cell system, and the Battery Box. The target markets for these products include temporary buildings, yacht battery chargers, recreational vehicles, the power tool hire market and military lightweight generators and battery chargers.
Voller Energy has received two Smart Awards from the UK's Department of Trade & Industry to develop its technology, and has filed four patent applications. It aims to be one of the first to market with a combined reformer/fuel cell product using fuels such as propane or butane.
