✦ Synopsis
Chemikminescence spectra and photon yield; resulting from reactions of copper atoms with NzO, Oz. NO, NF3, SF.s, Fz. Cl*. Br;?. and 12 have been obtained between ZOO and 1100 nm. The most interesting feature of these spectra is the Strom and peculiar emission from copper atoms observed in the Cu + NF3 reaction; population inversion has been obtained between some of the Cu states and it is suzested that this is due to eners transfer from N2(A) formed in the reaction to copper atoms-
