โฆ Synopsis
heterogeneous catalyst for the production of the solvent methyl isobutyl ketone. The catalyst was developed based on activated hydrotalcite, a layered clay made up of magnesium and aluminium hydroxides and deposited on carbon nanofibres. Easily recovered from the product through filtration, the catalyst can produce methyl isobutyl ketone from acetone and hydrogen.
