✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Influence of the composition of the initiator system employed on polymerization rate, molecular weight and structure of the polymer obtained was studied. At a zinc to aluminium ratio between 0.5 and 1, regular chain structure, and partly isotactic polymer was obtained. The dependence of polymerization rate and polymer molecular weight on the Zn/Al ratio in the initiator system was found to be of a very complex nature.
