The micellar effect on the kinetics of ceric ion-initiated polymerization of acrylonitrile (AN) in the presence of N-acetylglycine has been studied in the temperature range 30- 50°C. The neutral emulsifier (Triton X-100) has no effect on the Rp, whereas both anionic (NaLS) and cationic (NCTAB) emuls
