β¦ Synopsis
7he electrochromic properties of thin flints of 14/0 3 associated with a polymeric electrolyte (poly(ethylene oxide)-LiClO4) are presented. Such an all-solid-state electrochromic display offers" some interesting specific properties such as simplici O' in the cell fabrication compared with liquid display, and a strong dependence of the display response time on the temperature. This dependence may be used for the realization of devices with specific applications (thermal sensor and heated display devices). In this paper we present the characteristics of such a solid state display device in terms of response time, colouration efJ'iciem T and optical density. Cyclic voltammetr)' and chronoamperometry coupled with optical reflection measurements are used to study these properties.
