β¦ Synopsis
Polysilane comb polymers, which incorporate ethoxyethoxybutane in the side chain of the polymer, have been used as polymer electrolyte hosts. The polysilane polymers solubilize lithium triflate, allowing polymer electrolytes of a range of compositions to be prepared and studied.
[(CH,CH,OCH,CH,O(CH,),)Si(CH,)ln containing lithium triflate at a concentration of four oxygens per lithium cation has a room temperature ionic conductivity of 1.2 X lo-' S cm-'.

## Abstract **Summary:** A series of combβlike polysiloxanes was prepared as the base polymer for solventβfree polymer electrolyte membranes. Hydrosilylation of poly(methylhydrosiloxane) (PMHS) was used to substitute hydrogen by the two types of side groups tetraethylene glycol allyl methyl ether a
The electropolymerization of ortho-toluidine and ortho-anisidine gave uniform electroactive polymer films which were analysed by cyclic voltammetry, impedance and uu-vis absorption spectra. These films exhibit a reversible electrochemical response during cyclic voltammetry experiments in aqueous, no
