โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

We have investigated the structural and ionic conductivity properties of the polymer electrolyte PEO:KI/I~2~ doped with an ionic liquid 1โ€ethyl 3โ€methylimidazolium thioโ€cyanate (EMImSCN). Incorporation of the ionic liquid (IL) reduced the crystallinity, and enhanced the ionic conductivity. Optimized conductivity was found at 80 wt% of ionic liquid composition. This high electrical conductivity was suitable for dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC) application. (ยฉ 2006 WILEYโ€VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)

## Abstract The ionic liquid (1โ€ethylโ€3โ€methylimidazolium hexafluorouphophate) ([emim][PF~6~]) with different molecular weights of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) (MW = 4600; 10,000; 14,000; 20,000; 35,000, and 100,000) has been characterized at various temperatures and compositions using phase behavior
