✦ Synopsis


Abstract

Complexes of poly(2‐acrylamidobenzoic acid) with transition metals were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, electronic and vibration spectroscopy, and magnetic moment measurements. The thermal stabilities of the formed polymer complexes were compared with that of the poly(2‐acrylamidobenzoic acid) homopolymer by means of thermogravimetric analysis. The activation energies of the thermal degradation of the polymer complexes were calculated.
