β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
Polycarbonates were evaluated as stationary phases for capillary gas chromatography. Advantages of these resins are their high thermal stability and inertness to water. Long column lifetimes are exhibited for analysis of difficult samples such as acrylic acid in an acrylamide/water solution. The chromatographic behavior and typical applications are discussed.

## Abstract Ionic liquid (IL) stationary phase is especially suitable for separation of complex samples, owing to the βdual natureβ of IL. In this study, a synthetic method of ionic liquidβbonded polysiloxane (PSOIL) as stationary phase of GC was proposed. Then, the PSOIL was used to prepare an 8βm
## Abstract In this paper, two new open crown ether polysiloxane stationary phases were prepared for capillary gas chromatography. Chromatographic characteristics, including column efficiency, operational temperature range, thermal stability, and polarity were studied. The open crown ether polysilo

Sample introduction using the solvent effect can lead to significant swelling of the stationary phase. The phenomenon has been studied theoretically and experimentally. The longitudinal profile of the swollen phase has been established. Swelling can affect the retention time of solutes, the shape of
