This article describes the Pollution Prevention (P2) Framework Automated Information System. The framework is a matrix of pollution prevention resources developed by the Department of Defense Environmental Security Corporate Information Managemen f (DESCIM) Program Management Office in support of the Office of the Deputy Under Secreta y of Defense (Environmental Security). The P2framework resides on the Defense Environmental Network Information exchange (DENIX), DOD's environmental information elec- tronic bulletin board and website. An outline of the framework's information categories and electronic resources is provided. In addition, the article provides an overview of the information resources that the PZframework currently makes available and describes the process by which the framework was developed. Recommendations for future enhancements to the P2 framework are also discussed.
