Recently appointed chairwoman of the Chowan Cove museum, Maree Lilley invited the entire towns mayoral aspirants along to see if she could get their support, no matter who is elected.
Unfortunately for Maree, things get out of hand, and soon the museum was full of police and coroners rather than politicians and pastries. Even the media arent safe, as the murderer is determined to leave no evidence behind.
But clues and puzzles are what archeologist Maree loves to deal with, more so than angry suspects or the town gossip. With the support of her good friends Helen and Abby, Maree is determined to bring the guilty to justice, even if the police and her sister keep telling her to back off.
With so many leads turning into dead ends, can Maree solve the mystery before the case turns as cold as one of her displays?
