is launching CGS OptoLine, a confocal microscope upgrade system that is designed for use with almost any fluorescent or reflected-light microscope. The OptoLine Projection Grid Confocal Technology provides the optical sectioning necessary for confocal microscopy without using specimen-damaging lasers, light-restrictive pinholes, or software that makes presumptive interpretations. The system allows imaging with greater speed and light efficiency, while maintaining the optical integrity and image quality of the microscope. By eliminating mechanically complex, pinhole laser-scanning systems, the OptoLine system is a streamlined, low-cost alternative technology for confocal microscopy.
