β¦ Synopsis
The mechanisms and technical methods of plastic precision cropping are studied in this paper. Through the finite element analysis and experimental studies on the process of cropping under axial load, strain and stress distributions and the propagating process of plastic deformation of cropping under axial load as well as the effects of the technical factors such as the axial load, clearance, relative length of the cropped parts, etc., on the cropping process and quality are revealed.
