The lattice properties of model structures of a binary simple-metal system have been compared between three phases: an icosahedrai phase (I-phase), a Frank-Kasper crystalline phase (FK-phase), and an amorphous phase (a-phase), which have been produced by use of interatomic potentials. The shear modu
