An electrochemical method of synthesizing ZnCl, graphite intercalation compounds (GICs) in aqueous solutions was studied using chronoamperometry and chronopotentiometry. After electrochemical reaction of natural graphite, ZnCl,-GICs with stage 3-7 and/or mixed stage structures were evident from bot
