Pulse ion beam treatment was employed for polyethylene (PE) surface modification. Ultraviolet, infrared (IR), IR-attenuated total reflection spectroscopy (IR-ATR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy methods, as well as wetting angle measurement, were used for the analysis of PE structural changes.
