โฆ Synopsis
The existence of racial trends in dermatoglyphic variation is clearly established, yet, as pointed out by the writer in previous reports in this journal, generalizations must await the availability of records drawn from many peoples. The present note is limited, therefore, to the presentation of data. It deals with a series of sole prints of Siamese, Laos from Chieng-min. The material was secured in 1922 by Dr. William Harvey Perkins, now of Tulane University, through whose kindness I am privileged to report on the collection.
There are 76 individuals in the series, 50 males, 25 females, and 1 of unrecorded sex. About half are younger children, a few are adolescents and the remainder are adults. It is
