β¦ Synopsis
Industrial plants are an important production factor in the building sector. A centralized planning of components prefabrication must indicate the production method to be employed, the number, location and capacity of plants, and the allocation of total demand to established plants. The influence of the planning decision on direct and indirect production costs, transportation cost of finished components, and the value of opening a plant to the local community must be considered in the search for an optimal solution.
