defects such as antiphase domain boundaries, twin boundaries. stacking faults and dislocation boundaries have been observed within the 0 precipitates in an N-3.93 wt. 0, Cu alloy. The structures of these boundaries have been analysed and precipitate coalescence has been taken to k the predominant mechanism of their formation.

R&sum&-On a observe des dtfauts plans tels que parois d'antiphase, joints de macle. defauts d'empilement et parois de dislocations a l'interieur de precipitts tl dam un alliage Al-3.9300 Cu (en massi. On a etudit la structure de ces joints et l'on considtre que la coalescence d-s prtcipitis est Ie mecanisrze principal de leur formation. Zusammenfassung-Planare Defekte, wie Antiphasengrenzen, Zwillingsgrenzen, Stapelfehler und Verserzungskorngrenzen wurden innerhalb yen Musscheidungen in einer U-3.93 Gew.-O; Cu-Legierung beobachtet. Die Strukturen dieser Grenztllchen wurden analysiert : der vorwiegende Bildungsmechanismus wird gesehen in dem Zusammenwachsen der Ausscheidungen.
