The study of a Visigothic gold cross is presented in this work. The PIXE analysis of the metal alloys and the soldering areas has been performed. Results reveal the presence of Cu-Ag-Cd-Au and Cu-Ag-Au alloys in the soldering areas. The PIXE-PIGE analysis of the mounted ''stones'' and the beads that
