✦ Synopsis

The pion-photon Transition Distribution Amplitudes (TDAs) are studied, treating the pion as a bound state in the Bethe-Salpeter sense, in the formalism of the NJL model. The results obtained explicitly verify support, sum rules and polynomiality conditions. The role of PCAC is highlighted.

We present results from numerical studies of the NJL model with two massless quarks at nonzero temperature. We show that the model undergoes a second order chiral phase transition which belongs to the 3d O(4) spin model universality class.

Properties of mesons are investigated within the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. We include mesonloop corrections, which are generated via a systematic 1/N c -expansion in next-to-leading order. We show that our scheme is consistent with chiral symmetry, in particular with the Goldstone theorem and the Ge
