This study investigates evaporation characteristics of water droplets on hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces experimentally. The time-dependent contact angle, center-height, contact radius, surface area, and volume of droplet were measured for slide glass, octadecyltricholorosilane (OTS), and alkyl
