P i l o m a t r i x o m a was first described by M a l h e r b e in 1880 and later n a m e d p i l o m a t r i x o m a by Forbis and Helwig in 1961 [2]. M a l i g n a n t p i l o m a t r i x o m a was first r e p o r t e d in the literature in 1980 by L o p a n s r i et al. [2]. To the best o f our knowledge, nine other cases of m a l i g n a n t p i l o m a t r i x o m a have been reported.
