β¦ Synopsis
piezoelectric detection of surface stress change of solid electrode produced by an electromodulation was attempted to investigate the shift in potential of zero charge (pzc) of gold electrode with relation to underpotential deposition of copper in sulfuric acid solution. The relation between shift in pzc, AE, and surface coverage of copper, fl drew a sinusoidal shape with a critical point of about 6 = 0.42 at which surface reconstruction or rearrangement would take place.
