✦ Synopsis

This paper presents the results from a hardware demonstration of a noise radiation sensor for a ba%ed rectangular plate. The sensor consists of an array of independent piezoelectric patches connected to a linear combiner. The coe$cients of the linear combiner are computed in order to reconstruct (in real time) the volume displacement (or velocity). The robustness of the volume displacement sensor with respect to the location of the disturbance source is investigated.
