Ptcosecond ttme-resolved multiphoton ronizatron spectroscopy of rsolated tram-strlbcne and anilme is reported Nonexponentnl decay of transsttlbene is observed and evidence for vrbrational energy redrstrrbutron is presented Tbe rate of IVR IS found to be about 0.5 x 1Or2 s-t at 296 K.
