M ilton Roy Co has acquired the assets of Pressure Products Industries Inc (PPI), a manufacturer of diaphragm compressors for industrial markets.
Based in Warminster, Pennsylvania, the PPI business employs about 80 people. It will be operated as part of Milton Roy Co, which already manufactures metering pumps and specialty high pressure pumps, valves and gas boosters for a wide range of industrial applications.
"Acquiring the business of PPI adds another leading, global product line in the high pressure compressor markets to Hamilton Sundstrand's portfolio of specialty industrial pump and compressor businesses. It also enhances our presence in the specialty gas, chemical and petrochemical process industries," said Stephen Oswald, Hamilton Sundstrand Industrial division president. "The PPI business will add larger scale gas compression technology that complements Milton Roy's metering pump and gas booster business, which will benefit our customers."
