✦ Synopsis

We show that self-similar magneto-conductance fluctuations observed in semiconductor Sinai billiards originate from quantum interference processes, which are associated with classical trajectories that enclose discrete areas. We identify the exact areal distributions and reproduce the self-similarity with remarkable accuracy.
