PHRASAL VERBS PRACTICE TESTS

Phrasal verbs practice tests has been specifically devised for non native students of the English language who have reached at least an intermediate level of English.
As well as an exercise book, with easily accessible answers, it also includes, in the second section, a phrasal verb reference guide with further examples and explanations.
All grammar structures and tenses are used within the examples throughout the book to enable you to not only freshen up on phrasal verbs, but also to revise grammar.
What's more, plenty of idiomatic expressions are used throughout the book along with even more phrasal verbs within each phrasal verb example sentences. Those are marked with an *asterisk, and their meanings are explained in the answer sections.

WHY SHOULD I FAMILIARISE MYSELF WITH PHRASAL VERBS?

For one thing, they are everywhere. Natives to English use them every time they speak.
You hear them on the news and on radio broadcasts. You come across them in newspapers, journals, magazines etc,
You name it and phrasal verbs are there.
It's also important to understand that the only way to achieve English grammar mastery is to have constant exposure to idiomatic language. Phrasal verbs fall into this category. The more contact you have with those multi-word verbs with their multiple meanings, the more familiar they will become and the easier it will be to get closer to achieving proficiency in English.
