✦ Synopsis

A rheorericll model is presented for the photocurrent spectral response of Schottky junctions on semiconducting polyacetylene, taking into account geminate recombination of electron-hole pairs and pair dissociation. Comparison with available experimental data is made, showing fati ageement.

A simple model of recombination in a hemispherical pocket is developed in which the only parameters are the long-range attractive potential, which leads to binding, and the size of the pocket. A transition state appears when the problem is contracted from three dimensions to a one-dimensional proble

The lattice random walk themy of geminate recombination is applied to the low-field behavior of the dissociation probability q of photogenerated charge carrier pairs. It is demonstrated that this theory predicts a zero value of the slope-to-intercept ratio of u(E) for isotropic initial electron dist

The course of cyclic voltatntnetric curves on a polyacetylene electrode was calculated on the assumption that the current is controlled by the rate of charge transfer and ohmic effects occurring in both the solid and liquid phases. The anodic branches of the voltammograms obtained on polyacetylene e
