β¦ Synopsis
A rheorericll model is presented for the photocurrent spectral response of Schottky junctions on semiconducting polyacetylene, taking into account geminate recombination of electron-hole pairs and pair dissociation. Comparison with available experimental data is made, showing fati ageement.

A simple model of recombination in a hemispherical pocket is developed in which the only parameters are the long-range attractive potential, which leads to binding, and the size of the pocket. A transition state appears when the problem is contracted from three dimensions to a one-dimensional proble
