## Abstract The carbon‐13 n.m.r. spectra of several oxaziridines were measured. Aliphatic and aromatic __ipso__ carbon atoms __trans__ to the lone pair of nitrogen in oxaziridines were shifted upfield by __c.__ 9 ppm, and 3.4 ppm, respectively, in comparison with isomers of inverted configuration.

## Abstract __Cyclo__(D‐Leu‐L‐Leu) and __cyclo__(L‐Leu‐L‐Leu) were synthesized, and their carbon‐13 nmr spectra at 65 MHz were examined in dimethylsulfoxide and trifluoroacetic acid solutions. The chemical shift data are consistent with a boat or β€œtwisted” boat conformation of the diketopiperazine
